Methodologies

We have been working on methodologies to retrieve cosmic dust bulk densities using impact data, laboratory calibration and dust charging simulations. Uncertainties need to be reduced but the principle is demonstrated [Vermeirssen, semester project ETHZ 2023]. We also worked on retreiving the heliosheath filtering of interstellar dust from data and simulations [Baalmann et al., 2024, Hunziker et al., in prep.], should sufficient data be available.
